Fabric Place Basement hosts regular knitting/crocheting groups in our Natick store and a dynamic Quilt Club in our Alexandria store every month, but we are happy to host your sewing or craft group as well – free of charge!

Quilting guilds and sewing groups on bus tours are always welcome at FPB. Give us notice that you’re coming and we’ll make sure we staff up and stock up and roll out the red carpet for your group. Please call ahead to discuss timing and details and to see whether our store is a good match for your event or meeting.

Knitting and Crochet Groups

(Natick Location Only)

Get inspired, get advice, relax and have some fun! Bring your knitting or crocheting project and show it off, or get the advice you need to get un-stuck when you are snagged on a pattern. There’s always someone available to help. All levels of knitters and crocheters are welcome from beginner to experienced.

Three Groups to Choose From:

Every Thursday Evening: 6PM – 8PM
1st Saturday Each Month: 2PM – 5PM
(Knitting in the Boroughs, a Meetup Group)
2nd Friday Each Month: 10AM – 12PM

Learn new techniques, see demos and get project ideas. Enjoy guest speakers and socialize with fellow quilters. Take part in our Block of the Month every meeting. Guaranteed to be fun and informative whether you are an experienced quilter or just learning the ropes.
